2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year (August – May) Works 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 30-38 hours a week during the summer.
Salary: 
$10.09 per hour

Job Description
Duties: 
Responsible for working in a program for youths ages six (6) to eleven (11) in an after school program. Organizes sports activities, recreational games, and craft classes. Performs general janitorial and maintenance duties. Performs other related duties as required. May work special events when scheduled.
Other Responsibilties: 
Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
Working Conditions: 
Works in a Recreation Center environment; however, time is spent outside exposed to temperature extremes, dirt, dust, noise, etc.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: 
Applicant must be at least 16 (sixteen) years of age and have experience working with youths in a recreational atmosphere.
Knowledge: 
Recreation activities and programs.
Skills: 
Oral communication. Interpersonal skills necessary to be courteous of fellow employees and participants while performing duties.
Mental & Physical: 
Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 50% of the work day. Ability to lift and carry light (up to 25 lbs.) supplies, materials, and equipment frequently. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) supplies, materials and equipment occasionally. Work requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
